Notary marriage,divorce,DV,498a cases

Hello Sir/Madam I got marry in 2022 through notary public.No rituals,no marriage photo and no invitation card.Now situation forced me not to maintain conjugal life.Wife also don't need to stay.I wanna know can wife file 498a,DV and divorce case against me .As I know notary marriage is not valid.So can notary marriage paper affected these cases which she wants to file.

Hi, there is no concept of no notary marriage in Law. But while marriage if you both has adopted the customs following in your community and your got married and accepted each other as husband and wife then you are bound by law and it is valid marriage. And then all law are applicable .

as mentioned in your question. marriage should be perporm your custom. or through marriage registration, then only valid marriage. if filed 498a, dv case, maintenance case whatever she filed, you should file for quashing or conduct. further clarifications please call me thank you.
