Hello Sir/MadamI got marry in 2022 through notary public.No rituals,no marriage photo and no invitation card.Now situation forced me not to maintain conjugal life.Wife also don't need to stay.I wanna know can wife file 498a,DV and divorce case against me .As I know notary marriage is not valid.So can notary marriage paper affected these cases which she wants to file.

Hi. I am Tanya. I filed for rcr and my husband for divorce. Now it's almost at the end of the case. My lawyer says my rcr is of no use if I win as he is not ready to take me. We spoke for settlement but my husband is not ready to pay anything inspite being a central government employee. My Wife on H1B, along with my 14 year only son living in USA DC area from 4 years, she applied for divorce and got exparte decree. i was shuttling, India and USA for 3 years. for every 3 months till last july 17.2021. nI am in India i tried many ways requesting her to come back to india even after she got divorce in usa(Mail proofs). no response from her, on behalf of her her father registered a complaint in PS with these sections. - 326, 354, 420, 498-A, 306, 307 r/w 34 IPC, 156(3) corps 3,4 DPA. Regarding above subject matter, The judgment of US court is final. You do not require any validation of your divorce from an Indian court. As a corollary thereto, you are free to remarry. and Both of you can file a divorce in USA . the decree awarded by the US courts are valid in india.
