Newly married wife left home without permission with her father

Respected sir/MadamMy wife left after just one month of marriage with her parents without my permission that time Father told she would return after one month but she got pregnant so father in laws told she would return after delivery of baby but now after delivery of baby after one year my wife as well as father in law are refusing to return and threatening me for divorce and saying she will never return and do whatever do you want to do kindly suggest me what should I do and what may be worst scenario for in this case she always said that my mother in laws abused and beaten but this is not true kindly suggest me and help to restore my marriage life I will be very grateful
For restoration of your marriage the best option available for you is to file for Restitution of Conjugal Rights under section 9. In this petition you can call your wife back to your matrimonial life. Your move is a must because if she files for Domestic Violence then you will be in trouble. Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, which deals with restitution of conjugal rights, reads: “When either the husband or the wife has, without reasonable excuse, withdrawn from the society of the other, the aggrieved party may apply, by petition to the district court, for restitution of conjugal rights and the court, on being satisfied of the truth of the statements made in such petition and that there is no legal ground why the application should not be granted, may decree restitution of conjugal rights accordingly.”
