Need clarification regarding my rights in my fathers assets

Hi, My father and mother got divorce when I was 7 yrs old.My mother is uneducated so that time my father gave her just 20000 as allimony. However there is nothing mentioned in the divorce document about child's care. Can I file a case against him now to get money for my marriage?

Yes. U can file a case against ur dad , u has the right to get the assets from your Dad as per the law.your dad has to give the share according to law.if your dad doesn’t given then u can file other case . Don’t forget Your legitimate child... before filling case collect all information & documents....take care.

Your mother cannot get maintenance as she has accepted the permanent alimony. With regard to the maintenance of the child, you can approach the court through your mother if you are a minor. In case you are a major, you can seek maintenance till you get married.
