Need advice in legally leaving parent's house

12-Mar-2024 (In Family Law)
A 19-year-old friend in Gujarat, where her father is an advocate, is being continuously tortured and forced into engagement against her will by her parents. They're even threatening to stop her education. She's thinking of moving to Delhi to get away from her dad's connections. How can she keep safe and stop her parents from further harassing her ?

She can simple leave the house as she is a major. If she has been abducted you can file a complaint case under section 98 of CRPC before the Learned Magistrate along with complaints to the nearest SHO, ACP and DCP.
