My wife is engaging in self destructive behaviour

My wife is engaging in self destructive behaviour. God forbids if any untoward happens, her family (i.e., my in laws) are going to blame me.
I have informed them about this but they are careless and not responding as my wife has been doing this since her childhood.
What is the legal remedy available to protect against any blame that might come on me in the future.

you are supposed file a complaint and send ur wife for counselling sessions to a doctor i.e a psychologist. along with ur wife even u have to attend session. then only u can get some remedy. immediately file a complaint and inform the same to their parents and place the issue in the family members.
