my mother is verbally /physcially abusing and harassing us .

hi, my mother and my sister is taking all my grand mothers pension and treating her badly by not even giving food. they also demand money from me for their monthly expense and verbally abusing me all the time. i can not able to take it any further. please let me know is there any way to get restraining order to prevent my mother taking my granmothers pension and stop asking money from me.

Hii... Sure...first you give a police complaint against them, simultaneously you can also give a complaint to human rights through your grand mother. If your grandmother is a Senior citizen, in that case she can give a complaint to RDO too..

Firstly your grandmother has the right over her pension money, so try to get the pension money from your mother and utilise the money for your grandmother's welfare. If not possible to do so, then write a Petition to the District Collector of your region regarding the issue faced by your grandmother and then The Collector will post the matter for enquiry which you need to attend and tell them all the grievances faced by you and by your grandmother in that enquiry. your grandmother can also file maintenance case before the appropriate legal forum because there is a duty for every children to take care of their parents.
