My grandmother was Violenced by their daughter - in -law

Hi ,My grandmother (Mother's mom) named Sivakami ,has 3 daughters including my mom and 2 sons .Now she is in my uncle's house where she is treated very badly by their in laws.Always they are speaking her with bad word,beaten her even they didn't allowed her to use the toilet.Sometimes they didn't provide the food also.Any legal rights can be suggest to me for her.

Your grand mother can file a complaint under Domestic violence Act and she could also file a complaint under Protection of senior citizen Act. DV is a speedy remedy and it will be easy to approach the protection officer to file a complaint.
