My Friend Want To Do Court Marriage, so can someone please tell me what will be the process? And is there any different between Court marriage and Registration?
Hi,
there are two types of marriage under law.
one is marriage by way of SAPTAPADI and registered marriage. in first form, you have to perform your marriage and in second form you have to register yourself for marriage which will be solemnized on the date given by registrar.
Both types are valid marriages.

Your friend and the girl has to be of age of majority. A lawyer has to be hired, who will make an application for the same before the marriage registrar. The date will be finalised they can marry in a temple or infront of the registrar and can get their marriage registered.
