in case of self acquired property your father have every right to make his decision no interference can effect it. Once he had by any mean transferred the property no one can claim any share in future and after gift also no one can ask for share for further details you can call me

Hi
your father can bequeath the said property to you by way of gift deed. if it is a self earned property of him. once gift deed in your name is done . no one can claim the property.
