Mutual Divorce Decree of Nepal valid in India

We are hindus.I am an Indian and married to Nepalese in Nepal itself.My wife never came to settle in India.We got divorce in Nepal through Mutual Consent by District Judge.Is it valid in India?Is there need to execute the divorce decree by District Court of Nepal in Courts of India under section 44A of CPC?If its valid,can second marriage be registered in India and what documents would I need?

On the above query if divorce be happened at Nepal then it would be valid in India as because you have faced law of Nepal. You had right either file divorce in Indian or Nepal which you already did. You keep the divorce copy for future reference. Sec 44A of CPC is different. Feel free to call.

As per your issue if you have get decree of divorce from the competent court of Nepal then it is valid across the globe because the cause of action has also arose there and yes you are legally entitled to solemnized another marriage whenever desire and as far the documents required is Copy of matriculation certificate or marksheet for age determination, Photos, Address proof and identify proof of the witness.
