Mother in law forcing me and my husband to leave my matrimonial home

My mother-in-law is harassing me and my husband to leave my matrimonial home to accommodate her maternal family. I am 7 months pregnant. What should I do? The property is in her name and my father in law has expired. I am Christian.

Hi, You can file case in the court of law for direction that you have right to residence in share house hold and your mother in law should not disturb the possession. There are specific provision under the protection of women from Domestic violence, Act, 2005. Speedy remedy and interim order can be sought. for harrasment u can go to police station and there is a special ladies deepartment for this types of mater, your husband is 100 % responsible for your any need, for pregnancy, for your health, for your any expancse, u have to meet your investigation officer, of your area. who handle domestic violance mater, all ladies related problems. i.o can solve your problem...

If your mother in law forcefully leave you matrimonial house then she is liable to punish under Domestic Violence Act
You can file compliant against your husband also under 498 also.
You can file 125 Maintenance application also before the court.
