Mother gifiting her part of the property to my wife

12-May-2024 (In Family Law)
Me & my mother are equal owners of property(self acquired) by my father(residential, industrial & commercial). My wife has been too unreasonable & dominating since the first day of marriage and now she's demanding 50% of our property in her name(my mother's share to be gifted to her) or she threatens to harrass, humiliate & embarras us in the society and amongst our relatives. Now my mother is pressurising me by telling me every now and then something or the other as she's 90% ready to gift it.

if the property is in your name and your mother, the ownership right is your, the wife has no right on your property, don't give gifts to any portion of the property, once you transfer the property, they throw out of your family

your wife cannot pressurise your mother in this way. if your wife files a false case against you or your family members, she will be commuting a punishable offence. your mother in fact has more remedies available in law than your wife. so, if she's giving it out of love and affection it's a different thing, but there's absolutely no need to give your wife property by coming under pressure, because she has no entitlement under law.

Hello actually your question is not clear though the problem appears to be more with the wife wherein she has been pressurising to transfer the property in the name of your mother to her. You may record such an untoward incidents wherein she has been pressurising you people for transferring and your wife conduct is nothing but an act of cruelty on which you can file for divorce and hence it can be used accordingly for the same.
