Mentally tortured by so called bf for marriage

I am an independent single mother. I work in a reputed firm in Bangalore. My kids are studying in a boarding school in Dehradun. During lockdown I get connected with a college student through a dating app.Over time we develop physical intimacy in a pure consensual way. He developed emotional intimacy as well, which I came to know later, when he approached me for marriage. We had a fight and I broke up the relationship. Now he is reaching out to me almost everyday for convince me.My kids are 12 and 15,about to be adults. He is a good guy but marriage was never in my mind coz i have to think about my kids as well and he is too young for me.Is there any legal way to convince him to stay out of my life.I don't want him to put in him jail.I am bit concerned about my social status.If I file a police complaint will my identity will be revealed?

Dear Madam, You have two options you can get issue a legal notice and get rid of him. Secondly you can lodge complaint for the offence under Section 498 of Indian Penal Code and FIR will be issued against him. Apart from this you have many options as he is blackmailing you and if you do not take any action he may not leave you.

You need not necessarily go before the police, but you could get a legal notice to him seeking abstinence from interfering with you in any manner. In the alternative, you can also pursue a civil suit seeking the same remedy. While in the legal notice no third person will be known to this, the suit maybe of public view, but limited.
