Mental torture by father in law

I live in a joint family along with my huband. My father in law separates our household and torture us everytime.and demand excessive money for electricity ,water ,maid expenses.my father in law and his younger son and his wife makes a team against us to exit us from the house.please help

You will need to file a strong complaint against the said persons in your local Police Station. We can draft the complaint. If the police refuse to interfere in the matter, we can then take the direction from the magistrate and make the police investigate your matter. We can also file a complaint against the said persons before the magistrate court directly under sec 200 crpc.

Well, if you feel that your father in law and others are creating havoc for you and your husband then you should file a case against them under the PWDV Act. Alongside that you can also file a case under 107 CrPC. Regards
