Mediation Fees charged in Karnataka mediation centre

Should I pay the mediation cost in Karnataka mediation centre. My lawyer is charging 4k inspite of paying the good amount to file a case. Kindly let me know if 4k can be paid for mediation on restitution of conjugal rights when it is mentioned as free.

Dear Sir, As for my knowledge is concerned there is no such fee but in Bengaluru City advocates are charging Rupees One Thousand to Five Thousand to attend mediation and also Court hearing dates since there are suppose to stay in the mediation centre for more than three to four hours. Please check with Director of Mediation Centre about the legal fee or ask your Advocate to share the receipt having paid such amount to the Mediation Centre.
