Married at girl age 16, husband says not legal.. Gets married again

Hello,
My friend got married at age of 16 in 1998. They did not had kids. Her husband started an affair with a 10 year younger girl in 2008. The girl got pregnant and gave birth in 2009. And they both got married and got marriage cert. They say, his 1st marriage was when girl was 16, which is illegal, and he can marry someone else if he wants. My friend now found out about this issue.
Kindly Advise, if getting married at age of 16 not considered marriage? And can he really get married to someone else??
Sorry to know about your situation. His second marriage is illegal. You may initiate legal proceedings against your husband. Even if you were minor at the time of marriage, that doesn't mean you aren't a legally wedded wife...

married at age of 16th that is void marriage. but you can file criminal case against him. you can file rape case and if you have kids from him then file case for declaration of valid marriage. need to discuss and more information. you can call me. thank you
