legal rights of wife and mother

My buisnessman Sikh husband (only son) died last month, i have two minor children. My mother in law on behest of her brother started falsely accusing me and wanted to get her share in everything. what can she claim out of business, property, bank accounts ( in the name of my husband and me), current account of partnership firm of which he is partner

Regarding legal query, a few details are required. Regarding detail of properties, movable and immovable, also liabilities if any, which were of your late husband. Apart from that a few more details are also required. A conference would be useful. Regards

Hi Mam, the business started by your husband or started your father in law....??
Mam what type of property your husband left and how much property he self acquired or inherited????
These points have to discuss to gave u proper advice.. because the main fact is type of title owned by your husband?

As your husband was a sikh, so his estate/ propeerty is governed by hindu succession act and as per that act, when a male hindu dies his property firstly devolves as per his WILL and if there is no Will then his share is divided among his mother, wife and children equally.
