Legal heir certificate document required and procedure

I am from Mumbai .My father was state government employee he died on 2nd may 2020.me and my married sister and my mother are only after him.I want to make legal heir certificate tell me the procedure and document required for that
You would need his death certificate issued by the municipal Corporation, his aadhaar card, your aadhar cards, TCs showing your father name as his name. Once you file a legal heir application, after first order of the court you would need to give notice in news paper, then your statement will be recorded on oath, documents will be verified and then the court shall pass order.

It'll have to be filed in Bombay High Court if you're residing within the jurisdiction of Mumbai. In whose favour do you want it? Consent Affidavits of the other two heirs and the death certificate of your father will be required. What is purpose of seeking the Certificate?
