Legal Adoption of a 42 year old by close issueless relative

My 77 years old Uncle (father's younger brother) and her wife do not have kids. I'm 42 years old who has lost both of his parents. Can my Uncle & Aunt adopt me legally at this age?
As per the information provided by you, it is not possible under Indian Laws to adopt someone who is above the age 18 years (as adoption can be done only of a minor).
