Dont think of filing divorce. Instead file domeatic violence case and 498a he will come under pressure and seek maintenance property it will serve him right and also trap your mother in law in it, it will work wonders

You please tell him that however he wants to give divorce you he cannot ignore you and your child (if any). Another thing is that it is you who is fed up with him and have the ground for divorce.
Please make him aware that he need to give you maintenance and even you can have right to live in house after divorce too.
I don’t think after getting aware of his legal obligations he will dare to think of divorce!! Because I have seen these types of men are bit coward.

If you want then you can file a domestic violence case against your husband and also your mother in law and 498 also amd if u want ask for aimoney from your husband .And if you want to give him divorce the you can also file it.
