14-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
hi, i want to marry to 1st cousin (maternal uncle's daughter) how can go for it legally?? as i am hindu maharastrian brahmin. through arya samaj mandir is it possible to do this and what indian law say for this i am a bit confused can you please guide for the same
First of all as to whether both of you are attending the majour age that is to be seen, if yes then law permits you to go to registrar and solemnised the registered marriage. So far as my knowledge the Brahmins boys may allowed to get marriage with the daughter of mama ie mothers brother. Check both date of birth and certificate to that effect.
