In-law's doing fake case where they don't live

I am residence of Alwar Rajasthan and my in-law also living in Alwar since their marriage almost 25 years. He was born in Faridabad. So he wants to file fake case against us in Faridabad. He want to register a case in Faridabad so that we have trouble to go there Q1 Can he register a case in Faridabad while living in Alwar?

Hi Madam, Please explain what type of case is he planning to file against you. Because different cases have different jurisdiction as per law. Yes there can be situations where cases can be filed in Faridabad. Hello From your query it appears that he is born in Faridabad but lives at Alwar. In such circumstances he can file a case if he is living in Faridabad at the time of filing the petition in the court. If he is living in Alwar he has to file case From Alwar and not from Faridabad
