ill treated by in laws and husband

my husband has foreign PR. during his stay in india,he & in-laws mentally tortured me.nAfter family discussion, it was thought that everything will sort out once we live together in foreign.when i moved abroad, he was still misbehaving and insulting me all the time,taking note of every expense i do.(seems like i am caged). i have left the place, living separately.he is threatening me now also that he will put false allegation and destroy my life.what can i do living abroad now and get justice ?

If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction. And if you wish to go legal then you can also file a petition under section 12 DV or section 125 CrPC and claim maintenance for yourself. And if there's no scope of living together then rather stretching the relationship you should file for contested divorce under the ground of cruelty. I would suggest you to go with mutual divorce because it's cost effective and ends up in a maximum of six months. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

It is important for you to have an injunction notice against the person from Indian Court and post that you will not be suffering any harm. however looking at your condition I will suggest you a separation from such a family is the best course of action unless you do not want any separation . your husband and in laws seems to be mentally and physically harrassing you and you should take strict action for that.

Since you have bern mentally tortured by your husband and in laws you can file a petition under section 12 of the domestic violence Act as this act of atrocities tantamount to domestic violence. You can further get a complaint drafted from a lawyer and file it with the concerned police authorities. For further advise you may connect

You need to file domestic violence case in this regard ! This comes under cruelty and every country has certain act in this regard ! It’s better you hire expert advocate before moving any complaint so that you can do proper home work ! Plz b in touch

there are several complaints and cases that can be filed from your side. Also, you being outside india will make very little difference. you can still file cases and complaints in India. There is a provision for the same too.
