I am a Hindu adult girl, My family members (father, mother, older brother) are forcing me to marry a guy 10 years older than me, and they also know that I love someone else, still, they are giving me threats, beating me and forcing to say yes. Even they stopped my graduation and stole my freedom. I told them that I don't want to marry anyone now but they were like say yes in front of everyone otherwise we will beat you and make your no to yes. They are treating me that I don't have any rights so they can do whatever they want by keeping me under pressure and forcing me. nI want to file a domestic violence case against them and want to get separated until my graduation(1 year left).

dear, you have the fundamental right of article 21 where you can live your life as you want and the love marriage comes under the shed of this article, another thing is that, anyone cannot force you to marry any guy against your will because it will comes under bull and voidable marriage. 2nd thing, parents are responsible to maintain the children till first graduation and for girls till marriage. so you may take the help of the court
