I am. 25, have a similar aged brother, have conflict father whose provides everything only to brother but nothing to me and we have kind of abandoned each other and its very clear that any property that financial he'd only be providing him, another problem is that my mother my grandfather arw also earning and have them in in my family their assets and finace is also held & managed by the father, willingly though, But due to the conflict with him, I get Nothing from the family so I am wondering if I have any rights in the family that I can claim right now, as I. Am 25 he took me out of college with a lot of abuse and torture, mental, physical, and left me jobless, sent the brother to America for the second third time like investing everything I am in him always and in all forms

If the property is an ancestral property then you may claim your right over it as per Hindu succession act. Further if the property is the self acquired property of your father then he can give it to any one and you won’t be able to claim anything. However you have your right to get maintained by your father and we can file a maintenance petition as per law. Please feel free to contact Thanks

As you are major and I am presuming that you are also physically healthy and person of sound mind , you have no right to claim maintenance from your father or grand father or mother. However, definitely there a certain rights which no one can take away from you and such rights which come to you with your birth such as right in the ancestral property. So you can claim such rights any day.
