Definitely you may take adoption of any kid, if you are widow then you have to show the death certificate and you have to show the financial capability to take care of the adopted TThenfor this you may approach to any child care home.. Or orphan homes to adopt child /kid.

you need to prepare an adoption deed and get it registered from your concerned area DM. You are also required to obtain an undertaking from the present parents of the child regarding their No Objection and Consent and also publish the adoption notice in the newspaper. As regards the marriage certificate, you can produce your Aadhar card where name of your husband is mentioned along with the death certificate of husband

Adoption can be carried out by performing certain ceremonies and involves the consent of the natural parents as well as of the adoptive parents of the child. What these ceremonies are is not clearly defined under law and can vary. It is far better to execute a registered adoption deed which is generally considered to be conclusive proof of adoption. It can be done by executing a registered adoption deed in the office of the sub registrar of the tehsil concerned. The documentation required for a registered adoption deed and may vary from state to state . An enquiry can be made from the sub registrars office as to what the requirements are.
