Husband not taking back to matrimonial house

06-Sep-2023 (In Family Law)
We were married 6 months ago and at the time of marriage, I am working in an IT firm and he is working in central government organization in different cities. I expressed my interest to work after marriage and he said he will support it by getting a transfer to the place where I am working and asked me to work from home( as due to covid, IT firms are making to do WFH) until he gets transferred. Now after marriage he started showing his true colors and started harassing me along with his parents and left me now at my parents house saying he don't want a working wife and wont take me back along with him unless I resign my job .Now I am working from home only, still he is not willing to take me back along with him. What to do? Can a husband rule on wifes employment and leave like this showing as a reason.

You issue seems to be a bit serious. This adamant nature of your spouse would only complicate the relations further. You should immediately seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer and formulate a strategy. You can claim right to residence by filing a complaint under domestic violence

The whole thing lies in the fact that if you still want to live with your husband or not. If your answer is negative then you can go for filing of Domestic Violence against your husband or else you can always file a written complaint to the nearest PS for the offences committed on you.

you have two options
1. You can go back to his place for this you need to file section 9 which is restitution of conjigul rights
2. You can file a divorce petition
