We are staying separately for last four yrs.he did not pay a dime for our son's education.now he is going to USA to peruse masters degree. It will cost rs 70lakh.my husband is an AGM at NTPC and I am an officer at LICI.how can I get my son's educational expenses from hi

You will not get maintenance for your son's education on the ground that your son is not a minor. As per Section 125 Crpc it clearly states that the son will be provided maintenance as long he is a minor and cannot maintain himself. Thanks

As you are an employee and get salary so you can't claim compensation for yourself but the education and proper nourishment is the common duty of both of you. It depends upon the claim petetion how you have filed.
