Husband is sleeping in another room, not with wife

30-Nov-2023 (In Family Law)
Hi. I have been married for six months. I have had a dispute with my in-laws. Now my in-laws are not allowing my husband to sleep in the same room as me. He has also agreed to this. Can this be a condition for divorce which they might be planning for?

Desertion can be a ground for divorce if the husband and wife have been staying separately for 2 years or more. However, if you want to resume your matrimonial ties with your husband then you can file for restitution of conjugal rights.
