How to prove that money transferred to bank account is not dowry

2,66,000 rupees credited in my account through cheque from my wife's account after 8 months of marriage on the ground of marriage expenses are done by me at the time of marriage, so, she given money . But, now, she is intimidating me ,I can file a case on you about dowry harassment. Now,how shall I prove ,that money is not a dowry ? Plz suggest me,,,,plz.
Whether the money credited into your account is dowry or not is a matter of trial and as and when proceeded before, can only be authenticated or proved by way of any oral, written communication depicting the money not being taken as a dowry.

How many years/months since you are married? Amount transferred to your account after 8 months, marriage expenses can be as well issued by cash she need not transfer that means there is a pre-plan which can be sorted out ...So that will not be an issue. Please provide me complete details so that i can suggest you in a proper way.

Please check the Remarks for transfer. Proving dowry is difficult and proving the demand is much more difficult. If remarks of transfer says "marriage expenses" it shouldn't be a problem at all. Are there any other problems associated between you and your wife? circumstances act a lot.

first you have to collect proofs that amount paid for expenses , now you have chance to send mails or sms to your wife mail or mobile the said amount belongs to expenses and also send details of expenses spend both. cont Advocate
