Your husband is liable to maintain you and his/ your child for all reasonable expenses incurred for bringing up the family.. If you are a earning member still he has to shell money out of his own pocket and he can't deny it..

You can file a petition under section 125 of Code of Criminal Procedure(CRPC), claiming mantainence from your husband asking him to bear your household expenses and also the required expenses of the children in order to sustain them with regard to a quality life and education.
