How to claim Corona Death Compensation

My brother died of corona 9months back.Bank where is was working gave ₹30lacs compensation to his wife.Whether my mother who is getting family pension(after my father's death).will become a legai heir to claim the portion of this compensation.if yes.it's already been distributed to my brother's wife & minor girl.how to claim the money

Sir/madam, Is this his insurance that was disbursed or a voluntary compensation given by the company. You can clarify with the bank that issued it, if there were nominees while issuing it. Need more details to advice.

Dear Sir, Your mother also entitled for 50% share from the arrears of compensation given to your sister-in-law. The mother and wife of the deceased equally entitled to get compensation. File a suit for recovery of 50% share of your mother.
