How to challenge a relinquishment deed

Hindu . My mother signed a relinquishment Deed to my brother five years back for a lease property. Now my brother is not alive . Can my mother have her property or only his wife has d ownership.

After the death of brother his class one legal heirs is the owner of property including wife, child and mother. Remaining ur query is specific and I hope u get the satisfactory answer for question....

Here it is to be seen whether the relinquishment deed is registered or not in case of non registeration and if it falls under section 17 of the registration act then in such case one can always challenge the relinquishment deed and claim his right. For further details more facts are required

Terms of the relinquishment deed must have included the legal heirs, his wife is the owner on account of that.
