How much Professional fees do lawyers charge for Probation of Will in Pune. The other 2 family members do not wish to contest the Will. And they have no objection that the Will be executed in Beneficiary's name. Please guide me in this matter

Hello, it is based on the valu of property fees are charged. To obtain probate you have to pay stamp duty also which is excluded from main professional fees. If you are planning to challenge WILL or obtain probate you have to approach Civil Court of Pune.

As per applicable provisions under Indian Succession Act, probate is not mandatory, if properties are situated in Pune or other than Bombay, Calcutta, Madras. However if will is unregistered, many govt authorities ask for probate, and also companies may ask for transfer of shares/equities. Court fee depends on valuation, upto 75k max. Lawyers fees may differ as per years of experience or standing. If all heirs are cooperating, we can find alternatives. you may chose to contact us for further guidance
