How can a wife stop husband from threatening her family ?

I belongs to Hinduism. I tried my best to sustain my marriage but my husband's behaviour leads me to leave him but not divorced. Now i leave separately but he threatens me and my family. What legal action can I take against this?

If you do not want to remarry then you can file a maintenance case and if you want permanent solution then you can file a matrimonial case and in that case the court will order a handsome amount in your favour as an alimony and a solution for threatening you can file a criminal case in police station.

Yes u can file judicial separation u/s-10 of H.M.Act in the family court.if u want to take divorce u should file 13-B also before family court.u may file also DV.Act 2005 before cjm court against the husband
