Hi .. if I go with private adoption with just agreement and notary .. is it a valid document ? Can it be used for govt docs like aadhar card , passport etc ? Can the biological mother claim baby at any point of time after this agreement ? And is it possible to defend this claim with this agreement ? If it's not treated as a valid document , is there any option to make this valid ? nnWe are married couple ( 2 years + ) .. other side is single mother of a girl child 9 months old nnWhat are the documents required for adoption under HAMA? How much time required to finish the adoption process once all required documents are submitted ? nnThanks in advance

Hello, There is a detailed process of adoption along with requisite ceremony to be performed for adoption, merely an agreement with notary will not suffice your purpose. You are highly advised not to follow this process of an agreement with notary. In case you need assistance in your adoption do feel free to contact. Regards
