in the general power of attorney you should mention for what purpose that general power of attorney is made so you must specifically stated that for the purpose of gifting to the other person at this general power is made in favour of such and such person under the general power of attorney which was executed at America before the console Indian consulate and after that you should add certificate in the Indian sub register office where the property belongs to after the education of the GPA then only you can register a gift deed in favour of the person whom you want to

The youngersister can execute power of attorney in favour of her husband and the same has to be adjudicated before the concerned sub registrar office. once the POA is adjudicated the husband could accept the Gift on behalf of his husband.
