Forced engagement leading to bitter marriage now

Engaged since 2020. It was happened forcefully. Marriage preparations are going now that is to be held in June'23.I'm pursuing CA final. I'm still not happy with this arranged marriage. Everybody in my family is against my wish and the groom is also very selfish that he didn't listen to me when I asked him to let me escape from this engagement. The main reason behind all this is the groom is well settled and we are little backward from them in terms of financial status. Everybody from both the family knows that I'm not interested in this marriage however they didn't give me a damn. nHow can I cancel this marriage? Will it work if I run away from my home?

Hii, when marriage was fixed. what the job which groom engaged, First you meet the groom individually and explain the situation if it not works. we need to get the help of the police as last chance there we may ask your parents and groom and convey your wish Thank you

Once you are a major no-one can force you to do anything that you do not want to or consent to. If you perceive any illegal confinement then you can seek assistance of police by filing a complaint. In case of emergency you can call 100.
