FIL threatening to get a warrant issued

Hi Me n my husband living separately from 1 year due to several reasons one being his relative impotency issue n non willingness to work. I waited 6 months for him to rejoin job n get treatment for his problem but no use, do filed divorce from Blr. Now my in-laws have filed RCR in Aligarh UP. On telling them I can't travel they have threatened me they'll issue a warrant to drag me there. Can a warrant be issued under sec 9 of HMA?

1. since the case is a civil case no warrant will be issued. it is a court procedure. 2. your divorce case is pending before the family court in Bangalore, you can get the rcr case transfer to Bangalore only Do not worry.

Hi, you have filled Divorce case in Bangalore and your husband filed RCR in UP another state than Karnataka. So you can get the RCR case transferred in Bangalore and let them suffer. As you have already went before court for DIVORCE so RCR is a tactics to avoid permanent alimony to you. If any case has been filled anywhere then I one need to appear in that case to avoid any ex party adverse order fr that court. Better you proceed to transfer it.
