I think my father is cheating on my mother with some other women. His behaviour recently has changed,I have a feeling he is going to cheat me and mother off our inheritance and property.I am still young and unmarried, jobless and student,my mother is old too.If he cheats us off our inheritance and property me and my mother will be on streets. Can I just sue him for my rights to property before he does something like giving it to that women(cheater)

Respected As you mentioned in the above facts, if you have any evidence to show this, lodge a complaint from your mother against him and that lady. Immediately after the complaint, file a Partition suit and in that sought for injunction against the inherited property from alianting As you told it is inherited property. He cant transfer rights of the property easily to some other women who is not legally wedded. Only the legally wedded wife the children will get right to claim over the inherited property. Don't waste time proceed immediately.

Dear Madam, Your mother can get a stay order against your father and restrain him from transferring the properties in favour of any other women as your mother is having charge over such properties. Further your mother may ask to file DV case seeking following reliefs.

What is the nature of property? Is it self acquired property or ancestral property? If its ancestral property then you can file a suit for partition. So that you get your share. Advocate Jamal Sait 9902692140. Bangalore
