Im hindu girl married for 3.5yrs but lived in husband house just for 1yr after girl baby born at 9months for baby i went but just stayed for 10days thy demanded 15lakhs dowary n baby health was injured so i came to my mother house but after 6months i went to their home with my father mother n brother n my baby thy again demanded money wen v refused thy put us out immediately i had not taken my clothes baby clothes n jewels gold n silver n kitchen utensils v thought to negotiate thru some one relatives but thy hav approached lawyer n sent us information that v hav beaten them n taken all my clothes n jewels but i had not taken i donot hav bills for it since its all old jewels n v hav not beaten them also how do i get back all my things i dont kno whether thy hav given police complaint or not
Madam just file a domestic violence case and ask for all the relief s including maintenance for yourself and your child, and when once maintenance is granted they are sure to come for negotiations where you can settle the matter on your terms.

demanding dowary is an offence. You can file a police complaint in your city against your husband and in laws u/s 498A of IP. If police refused to accept the complaint, then you will have to file a complaint in the court.
