Facing issues in love marriage

Sir my question is, my girlfriend family are not accepting our relationship . If my girlfriend calls on 1090 women helpline number and seeks help for love marriage as her parents are denying will police help in such case if my girlfriend give statement in frot of police that I want to marry him (me) will police help in such case Or not?
My girlfriend is hindu and I am sikh by religion
if you both want to live together so don't worry if you both are major then no one can stop you by any way Sometimes the police will help you or sometimes not
you both have to perform the marriage if you both have completed the age of majority

Yes, may be the Police Officer arrest you because in most of the cases parents tell the police that the boy enticed her daughter or make allegations of kidnappingbor abduction, so as per my advice dont approach police directly.
