Wanted to know giving the groom the bed almirah dressing table is a ritual or a dowry or not?
its unheard that you give groom all those. but in case you meant bride then it can be termed as dowry if given on demand. otherwise it would be simply the streedhan of the bride which will be her exclusive property and is in law permissible

no it is not dowry and if the girl's family doesn't wishes to give such they can stop themselves from giving anything as well as accepting anything if the girl's family takes anything from boy's family, it can be dowry too be careful
