My husband was working in bahrain so my jewels weighing 1 kg , I gave it to my in laws and went with my husband to bahrain. Now they have not handed over 40 sovereigns of jewels to me. Actually they used my jewels for building houses for my sister in laws and also used the money my husband sent to them for the above mentioned purpose. nCan I file a case against my in laws and also my sister in laws who are still in bahrain

Yes you can file cases of dowry harassment and domestic violence before the court to get appropriate relief. You can get back your jewels as the cannot be taken away by your in laws. You need to prove that those jewels are yours and the same were in the custody of your in laws.

Writs are a written order from the Supreme Court or High Court that commands constitutional remedies for Indian Citizens against the violation of their fundamental rights. Article 32 in the Indian Constitution deals with constitutional remedies that an Indian citizen can seek from the Supreme Court of India and High Court against the violation of his/her fundamental rights. The same article gives the Supreme Court power to issue writs for the enforcement of rights whereas the High Court has the same power under Article 226.
