Domestic violence against sister in law

Sister in law blackmailing my brother that she will attempt suicide and defame our family name, and she is forcing him to cut all the contacts from our family,last year in may 2022 when we went to our brother house ,she abused me and my parents and ask us to leave from the house, we did not react at that time ,we as a family supported her and given them space but now the situation is getting worse ,my brother is living in fear and trauma and he is also talking about doing suicide

You immediately file a complaint against her in ur local police station as she is threatening to commit suicide so that on case if she harms herself turn u can get benefit of that in any proceedings including for bail. Ur brother can file a case under section 12 Donestic violence act as Supreme Court has held that men can also file proceedings under DV act if they are harassed, cruelty if committed against them. Also u can file a divorce case against her on grounds of cruelty as there is a wide scope of cruelty defined under Hindu marriage act and on many instances divorce is granted to the husband also on these grounds. Its a serious matter and it happy all the time. so my advice to you that as soon as possible you should consult it with an advocate or if you are in bhopal you can come and discuss this case with me also. In dv act only a female cant relief/protection any person in the family.

Kyunki vah aapko blackmail kar rahe hain isliye aap pahle Hi jakar Ek petition file kar den jismein aap divorce bhi Mang Le aur sath hi usmein yah bhi close Dale ki Kyunki yah Mujhe blackmail kar rahi hai yah Mujhe fansa Degi to is tarike se aap pahle apni baat Rakh kar Court ko bata sakte hain ki aapko blackmail Kiya ja raha hai aur aap is chij se Bach sakte hain aur sath hi FIR uske sath call bhi recording ho ya FIR koi bhi aapke pass evidence ho to usko sambhal kar rakhen aapko Aage Aane Wale litigation mein as a evidence kam aaega
