Defamation of prestige in the society

My relative has givien false allegations against me and that recording of the same was made my another relative and it led to defamation of my status in the society , how can I take the issue legally ?

You can always file a written complaint with the police station of your area regarding your grievances. And try to satisfy them to register a FIR against the culprits. And if they don’t you can file for 156(3) or you can also file a direct defamation in the court that comes within your jurisdiction.
