Daughter wants to disown family as father is abusive

Respected Sir/Mam, I am a 24 year old woman. My family, especially my father is extremely orthodox and controlling person. He is also physically and mentally abusive. I will be getting a job in a year or so. I want to know how can I disown my family. I don’t want to be associated with them at all. I also don’t want anything as inheritance from my father. So what is the procedure to cancel the inheritance and also to break all ties with them?
There is no such legal procedure for disowning parents. The best way could be a public declaration in the local news papers and thereafter a letter to the district magistrate with the paper cutting. that will be sufficient. But you will need a good drafting of public declaration and letter.

Hello, there are many ways to do the same you can file a case against your father's I'll behavior on grond of that court can pass a decree to be disacociate from the family, other way to make an affidavit wherein you can declare that from now on you are not a part of this family and it can be registered also and after that so the publication in Local/national news papers.
