Complaint against father for torturing his daughter.

my frds , she is regularly tourcher by her father. She is suffering form nerve prblm in brain , doctor says her not to tension so much. But her father then also treated her like animal. Says her very bad words, beat on her head , which is very risky for her life. And from some time her father not gave her lunch dinner also ,only give biscuits to eat. She loves her father that's why she doesn't want to go on police or in front of any lawyer.I want to help her , but how I can't understand. Please, help me to help her , give me way to help her. I want to she her happy. She is 23 years old .

your friend needs to file a complaint and that is the only way out or you should meet a lawyer and take suggestions of how to deal with the situation. detailed discussion is necessary in this regard to guide you better.

Your friend can file a case u/s-12 of D.V. Act before protection officer against her father for separate accommodation, monthly maintenance and also one time maintenance. That will be sent to the court of Judicial magistrate for disposal, I think you will get relief.

See, this is a clear case of law, no one individually can help her. Firstly, she have to come forward to help herself. Only then you can help her. The notion of the other family members, you have not stated so, there is a doubt arising. She require to lodge complaint with the local police to get reliefs, firstly there must be medical proof and local/eye witness from the family members. Thanks

First of all fix up your mind whether you want to save your friend or not? If you take any legal step this may create complication in your friendship.If you have made up your mind to help your friend then go and file a general diary to the nearest Police Station.
