Can I file a case against mental abuse ?

29-Mar-2024 (In Family Law)
Im a Hindu & married for almost 8 years. My husband’s behaviour is not good. He is very hot headed and speaks very rudely with me. He also humiliates me about my education, my own parents, blames me for everything happening in home and sometimes uses slangs. But he never raised his hand. I have a 4 year old child. And in front of my child my husband quarrels with me. I always suppressed his ill-treatment for many years, but I do not want any divorce. Can I file a case against this mental abuse?

Surely. You can file a case against him and others(if any) under section 498A,406,506,34 of the Indian Penal Code along side 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act (if he has demanded dowry during or after marriage). For maintenance of yourself and your son, you can also file a case against him under the PWDV Act.

yes you can very well file a case for mental abuse for which firstly proper planning needs to be done and entire life you dont have to divorce him and stay with him and the best part is encashing him all life and keep him under strict pressure, lets sit plan and show him the true colours of justice for harassing a kind lady like you
